Description

A light, refreshing, and fruity mocktail made with juicy watermelon, fresh mint, lime juice, a touch of sugar, and bubbly ginger ale and club soda. Perfect for hot summer days, garden parties, or a hydrating afternoon treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups chopped watermelon

  • Juice of 2 limes

  • 1½ teaspoons sugar (divided)

  • 4 fresh mint leaves

  • Crushed ice

  • Splash of ginger ale

  • Club soda (to top)

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine chopped watermelon, lime juice, and 1 teaspoon sugar. Blend until smooth.

  • In each serving glass, muddle 2 mint leaves with ¼ teaspoon sugar to release oils.

  • Fill each glass halfway with the watermelon puree.

  • Add crushed ice and a splash of ginger ale.

  • Top with club soda and stir gently.

  • Garnish with a mint sprig or watermelon slice. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra chill, refrigerate watermelon before blending.

  • Adjust sweetness to taste based on how ripe your watermelon is.

  • Strain watermelon puree for a smoother texture, if desired.

  • Use frozen watermelon cubes instead of ice to avoid dilution.
