Instructions
- Bake the Cake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 8-inch cake pans. Mix the dry ingredients, then add wet ingredients and hot coffee. Pour into pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Prepare the Strawberry Filling: Cook chopped strawberries with sugar and lemon juice over medium heat. Add cornstarch mixture, stir until thickened, then cool.
