They’re easy, fast, and perfect for dinner, parties, or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12-count) package Hawaiian sweet rolls

  • ¾ to 1 lb deli sliced turkey

  • 68 slices pepper jack cheese

  • 1 (4 oz) can diced green chiles, drained

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing)

  • Optional: fresh cilantro, sliced jalapeños, or red onion for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, and taco seasoning to make the Southwest spread.

  • Slice Hawaiian rolls horizontally to separate the top and bottom slabs.

  • Place the bottom half in a baking dish and spread the Southwest sauce on both sides.

  • Layer turkey, pepper jack cheese, and green chiles over the bottom half.

  • Add optional garnishes like cilantro, jalapeños, or onions.

  • Place the top rolls over the filling and brush tops with melted butter.

  • Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.

  • Uncover and bake an additional 5–7 minutes until golden and melty.

  • Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Customize with your favorite meats or cheeses.

  • Great for meal prep—store or freeze leftovers.
