Shrimp Tortellini with Garlic Sauce – Creamy & Easy Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 10 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cook the tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from the pan.
  • Melt the remaining butter in the same skillet. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Pour in the heavy cream, add Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese, and stir until smooth. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the cooked tortellini and shrimp back to the pan. Squeeze in fresh lemon juice and toss everything together. Heat for 1-2 minutes.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
