Ingredients

1 lb plain sausage (cooked and crumbled)

8 oz cream cheese (softened)

10 oz can Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies (drained well)

2 tbsp parsley (finely chopped, optional)

1–2 tbsp cilantro (finely chopped, optional)

2 tubes of crescent rolls (each triangle cut in half lengthwise)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a bowl, combine sausage, cream cheese, Rotel, parsley, and cilantro. Mix until well incorporated.

Unroll the crescent rolls and cut each triangle in half lengthwise.

Place a small scoop of the sausage mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Roll up from the base to the tip and tuck the end underneath.

Arrange the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving.
