    • 1/4 tsp salt
  • For the Cream Cheese Swirl:
    • 6 oz cream cheese (softened)
    • 1/4 cup sugar
    • 1 egg yolk
    • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and red food coloring; mix well.
  • Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until creamy.
  • Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Drop dollops of cream cheese mixture over the top and swirl with a knife or skewer.
  • Bake for 28–32 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely before slicing.

  • For clean cuts, chill brownies in the fridge for 30 minutes before slicing.
