- For the Cream Cheese Swirl:
- 6 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and red food coloring; mix well.
- Sift in cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Fold gently until combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until creamy.
- Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Drop dollops of cream cheese mixture over the top and swirl with a knife or skewer.
- Bake for 28–32 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely before slicing.
