Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh or frozen ravioli (cheese or preferred filling)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook ravioli according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
  • In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant.
  • Stir in lemon zest and juice, cooking for 30 seconds.
  • Add cooked ravioli to the skillet and toss gently. Pour in reserved pasta water and stir in Parmesan cheese.
  • Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
