- 1 lb fresh or frozen ravioli (cheese or preferred filling)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of ½ lemon
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup reserved pasta water
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook ravioli according to package instructions. Reserve ¼ cup pasta water, then drain.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon zest and juice, cooking for 30 seconds.
- Add cooked ravioli to the skillet and toss gently. Pour in reserved pasta water and stir in Parmesan cheese.
- Season with salt and black pepper. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
