Description

These Peeps Race Cars are the perfect, no-bake Easter treats that bring smiles to everyone’s faces! Made with Twinkies, Peeps bunnies, fudge-dipped Oreo wheels, and decorated pretzel steering wheels, this fun dessert is easy to make, colorful, and guaranteed to be a hit at any Easter celebration.


Ingredients

  • Twinkies (for the car body): 8 pieces

  • Peeps Marshmallow Bunnies (drivers): 8 pieces

  • Fudge Dipped Oreo Thin Bites (wheels): 32 pieces

  • White Fudge Flipz Pretzels (steering wheel): 8 pieces

  • Pastel Sprinkles (decoration): ¼ cup

  • Light Corn Syrup (for sticking sprinkles): 2 tablespoons

  • Candy Melts or Melted White Chocolate (for glue): ½ cup


Instructions

  • Prepare the Car Body: Cut a small rectangle out of each Twinkie to make a seat for the Peep and a spot for the steering wheel.

  • Add the Driver: Place a Peep bunny into the cut-out area of the Twinkie.

  • Decorate Steering Wheel: Dip a white pretzel in corn syrup, coat with sprinkles, and allow to dry.

  • Prepare Candy Melts: Melt candy melts or white chocolate and place in a piping bag.

  • Attach Wheels: Use the melted candy to glue Oreo Thin Bites to the sides of the Twinkie as wheels.

  • Attach Steering Wheel: Attach the sprinkle-covered pretzel to the front of the Peep bunny using melted candy.

  • Cool & Serve: Allow the candy melts to harden before serving.
