  • 1 can (15 oz) pecan pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread pecan pie filling evenly at the bottom of the dish.
  • Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the filling—do not mix.
  • Drizzle melted butter over the cake mix, covering as much as possible.
  • Sprinkle chopped pecans, brown sugar, and cinnamon on top.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  • Let cool slightly and serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

  • Swap yellow cake mix for spice or butter pecan cake mix for extra flavor.
