Ingredients

12 mozzarella cheese sticks (cut into 3 pieces each, or use mozzarella balls)

Instructions

Prepare the Cheese: Cut mozzarella sticks into bite-sized pieces. Pat mozzarella balls dry if using. Freeze cheese pieces for at least 30 minutes.

Set Up Breading Stations: Prepare three bowls—one with flour, salt, and pepper; one with beaten eggs; and one with Parmesan, panko, garlic powder, and oregano.

Coat the Cheese: Dredge cheese in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with the Parmesan-panko mixture. For extra crunch, repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating. Freeze again for 15-20 minutes.
