For the Toppings:

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped lettuce (Romaine or iceberg)

  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped

  • 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers or sliced jalapeños (reserve 2 tbsp for garnish)

  • 1/3 cup sliced olives (reserve 2 tbsp for topping)

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional Toppings:

  • Guacamole

  • Sour cream

  • Corn

  • Black beans

Serve With:

  • Yellow corn tortilla chips or baked tortilla chips


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Base:

    • Soften cream cheese at room temperature or microwave for 10 seconds.

    • In a bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, and taco seasoning until smooth and creamy.

    • Spread the mixture evenly into a 9- or 10-inch pie dish.

  2. Assemble the Dip:

    • Layer the chopped lettuce over the creamy base.

    • Add the tomatoes, bell peppers or jalapeños, and olives.

    • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly on top.

  3. Garnish & Serve:

    • Add reserved olives and jalapeños as garnish.

  • For a healthier option, replace sour cream with Greek yogurt.
