For the Steak:

  • 2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or rosemary (optional)

For the Garlic Cream Sauce:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Steak: Pat dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Sear the Steak: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes per side. Add butter, garlic, and herbs, then baste the steak. Remove and let rest.
  • Make the Sauce: In the same pan, melt butter, sauté garlic, then add broth, cream, and Parmesan. Simmer until thickened.
  • Serve: Drizzle sauce over steak, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!
