Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ cup BBQ sauce (plus extra for serving)
Instructions

Pat chicken dry. Pound to even thickness if needed.

Drizzle chicken with olive oil and rub with salt, paprika, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Preheat grill or skillet to medium-high heat (400°F).

Grill or sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until internal temp reaches 165°F.
