Description

Light, airy, and crispy meringue cookies with a fruity twist, thanks to Jello powder! These colorful treats are perfect for parties and special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 large egg whites (room temperature)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 tbsp Jello powder (any flavor)
  • ½ tsp cream of tartar
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 225°F (107°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and salt.
  • Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while beating.
  • Slowly add Jello powder and beat until stiff, glossy peaks form.
  • Transfer mixture to a piping bag and pipe onto the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 1 hour. Turn off oven and let cookies cool inside for another hour.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
