These Honey Butter Garlic Air Fryer Chicken Tenders are crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor.   • 1 lb chicken tenders (about 1012 pieces)

  • 3 tbsp butter (melted)

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

  • Cooking spray (for air fryer)

Optional Additions:

  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning


Instructions

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

  2. Make Sauce: Mix melted butter, honey, garlic, salt, and black pepper in a medium-sized bowl.

  3. Prepare Coating Station: Pour breadcrumbs into a shallow dish. Add paprika or Italian seasoning if desired.

  4. Coat Chicken: Dip each chicken tender into the honey butter garlic sauce, letting excess drip off. Dredge in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to coat.

  5. Air Fry: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange tenders in a single layer. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  6. Rest & Serve: Let the tenders rest for a couple of minutes before serving. Pair with dipping sauces and enjoy!

Notes

  • To make it gluten-free, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.

  • For extra crispiness, double-coat the chicken by repeating the dipping and dredging process.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 5-6 minutes.
