For the Apples:

  • 6 medium sweet apples (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • Pinch of salt

For the Crumble:

  • ⅔ cup oats
  • ⅔ cup pecans or walnuts (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a small baking dish.
  2. Sauté the chopped apples with coconut oil, cinnamon, and salt over medium heat until slightly softened (about 5 minutes).
  3. In a food processor, pulse oats, nuts, coconut oil, honey, and water until crumbly.
  4. Spread the softened apples in the baking dish and top with the crumble mixture.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let it cool slightly, then serve with yogurt, milk, or fresh fruit.
