Description

This Hawaiian Roll French Toast is a sweet and fluffy breakfast treat. Made with soft Hawaiian rolls soaked in a rich custard, cooked until golden brown, and topped with syrup, fresh fruit, or powdered sugar. Perfect for an easy weekend brunch!

  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk (or half-and-half)
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp butter (for cooking)
  • Powdered sugar & fresh berries (for topping)

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon.
  • Dip each Hawaiian roll in the batter, coating well but not soaking.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and cook rolls for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit.
