- 6 oz egg noodles
- 1 lb ground beef
- ¼ cup butter
- ¼ cup flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1¼ cup milk
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ cup sour cream
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package directions, draining them 2 minutes early. Set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat (6-8 minutes). Drain excess grease.
- In the same pan, melt butter and whisk in flour, cooking for 2 minutes. Gradually add beef broth, whisking to prevent lumps.
- Stir in milk and seasonings. Let the sauce thicken for 5-7 minutes.
- Return the beef and noodles to the skillet, stirring until fully coated.
- Remove from heat and mix in sour cream for a creamy finish. Serve hot!

- For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
- Swap sour cream for Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
