  • Author: Sophia Turner
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4-5 servings 1x

Description

This easy, one-pan ground beef stroganoff features tender egg noodles coated in a rich, creamy sauce with savory beef. A comforting 30-minute meal!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 oz egg noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ¼ cup butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1¼ cup milk
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Instructions

  • Cook the egg noodles according to package directions, draining them 2 minutes early. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat (6-8 minutes). Drain excess grease.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and whisk in flour, cooking for 2 minutes. Gradually add beef broth, whisking to prevent lumps.
  • Stir in milk and seasonings. Let the sauce thicken for 5-7 minutes.
  • Return the beef and noodles to the skillet, stirring until fully coated.
  • Remove from heat and mix in sour cream for a creamy finish. Serve hot!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a splash of Worcestershire sauce.
  • Swap sour cream for Greek yogurt for a lighter version.
  • Mushrooms can be added for a traditional twist.
