For the Chicken:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp dried thyme

  • ½ tsp dried basil

For the Honey Mustard Sauce:

  • ¼ cup honey

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard

  • 2 tsp hot sauce (optional)

  • ½ tsp white vinegar

  • ⅛ tsp paprika


Instructions

  • Preheat grill to 425–450°F.

  • Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and basil.

  • Whisk together all sauce ingredients. Set aside ¼ cup for basting.

  • Grill chicken for 2 minutes per side to sear.

  • Baste with sauce and grill for 7 minutes. Flip, baste again, and cook 5–6 more minutes or until internal temp reaches 165°F.

  • Let chicken rest 8 minutes before slicing and serving.

  • Drizzle with remaining sauce or serve it on the side.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer to prevent overcooking.

  • Let the chicken rest after grilling to retain juices.

  • Omit hot sauce for a milder version.

  • Pairs well with salads, rice, or roasted veggies.
