Description

Sticky, sweet, and savory chicken skewers coated in a glossy honey garlic glaze. Quick to prep, perfect for grilling or baking, and always a crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • Bamboo skewers, soaked 30 minutes

Honey Garlic Sauce:

  • ¼ cup butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup honey

  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar

  • ¼ cup soy sauce

  • ¼ cup brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp cornstarch

  • ¼ cup water


Instructions

  • Soak bamboo skewers in water.

  • Cut chicken into cubes and thread onto skewers.

  • In a saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic. Add honey, vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar.

  • Mix cornstarch and water, add to sauce, simmer until thick.

  • Grill chicken 5–7 minutes per side, brushing with sauce at the end.

  • Or bake at 400°F for 20 mins, then broil 2–3 mins with sauce.

  • Serve with extra sauce on top.

Notes

  • Use chicken thighs for more juiciness.

  • Add chili flakes to the sauce for a spicy twist.

  • Make extra sauce for drizzling or dipping.
