- Salt & black pepper to taste
- For the Garlic Butter Sauce & Rice:
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups chicken broth
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Optional: Red pepper flakes, parsley
Instructions
- Season the chicken with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Sear in olive oil over medium heat for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet.
- Make the garlic butter sauce by melting butter, adding minced garlic, and sautéing until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer.
- Stir in the rice and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Mix in Parmesan cheese, then return the chicken to the skillet. Cover and let sit for 5 minutes. Garnish and serve warm.
