Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs, egg yolk, vanilla, and red food coloring, mixing until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Gradually fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients, stirring gently.
- Fold in white chocolate chips, if using.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the top.
