These Edible Cookie Dough Truffles are a safe-to-eat, no-bake treat that’s creamy, chocolatey, and irresistibly delicious. Made with heat-treated flour, sweetened condensed milk, and coated in colorful candy melts, these truffles are perfect for parties, gifts, or simply indulging your sweet cravings.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cookie Dough:

  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature

  • 3/4 cups packed brown sugar

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (baked for 5 minutes at 350°F)

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips

For Coating and Decoration:

  • Pink, blue, purple, and white candy melts

  • Vegetable shortening (optional, for thinning candy melts)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Flour: Bake flour at 350°F for 5 minutes and let it cool completely.

  2. Cream Butter & Sugar: Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Add Vanilla: Mix in vanilla extract until combined.

  4. Combine Flour & Condensed Milk: Gradually add flour and sweetened condensed milk, mixing until smooth.

  5. Fold in Chocolate Chips: Stir in mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

  6. Shape Truffles: Form dough into 1-inch balls and shape into eggs. Place on a wax paper-lined tray and chill overnight.

  7. Melt Candy Melts: Melt candy melts according to package instructions, thinning with shortening if needed.

  8. Dip & Decorate: Dip each truffle into melted candy, tap off excess, and let set on wax paper. Optionally, drizzle with more melted candy.

  9. Serve or Store: Enjoy immediately or store in an airtight container.
