Description

These easy puff pastry cruffins combine the flaky layers of a croissant with the soft texture of a muffin. Made with store-bought puff pastry and cinnamon sugar, they are a quick and delicious treat perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 (17.3 oz) packages of puff pastry (4 sheets), thawed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup salted butter, softened

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  • Lay out puff pastry sheets and smooth any creases.
  • Spread softened butter over two pastry sheets.
  • Mix cinnamon and sugar, then sprinkle over buttered sheets.
  • Place the remaining two sheets on top, forming two “sandwiches.”
  • Cut each layered sheet into six strips. Roll each into a spiral.
  • Place in muffin tin and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  • Roll warm cruffins in remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add Nutella, jam, or cream cheese before rolling.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for longer storage.
