Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites (room temperature)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 small box (3 oz) Jello powder (any flavor)
  • ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 225°F (110°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Beat egg whites and cream of tartar on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while beating on high speed until stiff peaks form.
  • Mix in the Jello powder until fully incorporated.
  • Pipe or spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until firm and dry to the touch.
  • Turn off the oven and let cookies cool inside for 1 hour before removing.
