- 4 egg whites (room temperature)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 small box (3 oz) Jello powder (any flavor)
- ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 225°F (110°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Beat egg whites and cream of tartar on medium speed until soft peaks form.
- Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while beating on high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Mix in the Jello powder until fully incorporated.
- Pipe or spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours until firm and dry to the touch.
- Turn off the oven and let cookies cool inside for 1 hour before removing.

- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
- To re-crisp, bake at 200°F (93°C) for 10–15 minutes.
