Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Whisk together dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Divide dough and color each portion with food coloring.
- Fill a cookie press with dough and press shapes directly onto the baking sheet.
- Add sprinkles before baking if desired.
- Bake for 6-8 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool completely before decorating with melted chocolate.
