These festive Easter Rice Krispie Treats are a fun, no-bake dessert made with marshmallows, butter, and crispy rice cereal, shaped into cute nests and topped with Easter egg candies.

- 16 oz marshmallows
- 7 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- ½ cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
- 3–4 cups powdered sugar
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Green food coloring
- Easter egg candies (Cadbury eggs, M&Ms, or jelly beans)
- Shredded coconut (optional, dyed green)
Instructions
- Grease a mini cupcake pan and set aside.
- Melt butter and marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl for 2 minutes, stirring until smooth.
- Stir in Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
- Spoon mixture into the cupcake pan, pressing gently to form nest shapes. Let set for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix butter, milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth. Add green food coloring.
- Pipe frosting onto the nests and top with Easter egg candies.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- For added texture, sprinkle dyed green shredded coconut on top.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
- Freeze undecorated nests for up to 6 weeks.
