Description

These festive Easter Rice Krispie Treats are a fun, no-bake dessert made with marshmallows, butter, and crispy rice cereal, shaped into cute nests and topped with Easter egg candies.


Ingredients

  • 16 oz marshmallows
  • 7 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 34 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Green food coloring
  • Easter egg candies (Cadbury eggs, M&Ms, or jelly beans)
  • Shredded coconut (optional, dyed green)

Instructions

  • Grease a mini cupcake pan and set aside.
  • Melt butter and marshmallows in a microwave-safe bowl for 2 minutes, stirring until smooth.
  • Stir in Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
  • Spoon mixture into the cupcake pan, pressing gently to form nest shapes. Let set for 30 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix butter, milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth. Add green food coloring.
  • Pipe frosting onto the nests and top with Easter egg candies.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For added texture, sprinkle dyed green shredded coconut on top.
  • Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 days or refrigerate for up to 1 week.
