- 3 packages (16 oz each) frozen cheddar pierogies
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 4 cups chicken broth, divided
- 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional garnishes: chopped green onions, parsley, crispy bacon bits
Instructions
- Grease the crockpot with non-stick spray.
- Pour 3 cups of chicken broth into the crockpot.
- Add the frozen pierogies and sliced kielbasa.
- Sprinkle ½ cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW for 6 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, heat the cream cheese with 1 cup of chicken broth until smooth.
- Stir the cream cheese mixture into the crockpot.
- Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese on top and let it melt for another 30 minutes.
- Stir before serving and garnish as desired.
