Ingredients
- Firm tofu (1 block), drained and pressed
- Soy sauce or tamari (2 tablespoons) for a gluten-free alternative
- Rice vinegar (1 tablespoon) to add tangy depth
- Honey (1 tablespoon), or swap for maple syrup to keep it vegan
- Coconut oil (2 tablespoons), though sesame oil adds a nutty flavor
- Sriracha (1 teaspoon), with the option to adjust based on spice preference
- Garlic powder (1 teaspoon) for a rich, savory touch
- Cornstarch (2 tablespoons) to create that perfect crispy coating
Instructions
- Press the tofu by placing it between paper towels and weighing it down for at least 30 minutes.
- Make the marinade by whisking together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, Sriracha, garlic powder, and coconut oil.
- Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes or triangles.
- Marinate the tofu for at least 1 hour (overnight for deeper flavor).
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown.
- Serve warm with dipping sauce or add to rice bowls, salads, or wraps.
Notes
