- ½ cup buttermilk (or milk + 1 tsp vinegar)

- ½ cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and buttermilk. Add chicken pieces and marinate for 15-30 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, and seasonings.
- Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off, and coat in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan.
- Fry chicken in batches for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
- Drain on a wire rack and serve hot with dipping sauces.
