- 25 chocolate sandwich cookies (Oreos), crushed
- 5 tbsp melted butter
For Peanut Butter Filling:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
Toppings (Optional):
- Chocolate syrup
- Crushed peanuts or peanut butter cups
Instructions
- Combine crushed cookies with melted butter. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie plate. Chill in refrigerator 20 minutes.
- In a bowl, beat peanut butter, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping.
- Spoon filling evenly into crust, smoothing the surface.
- Drizzle chocolate syrup and sprinkle peanuts or peanut butter cups on top.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours, overnight is ideal. Serve chilled.
