    • 4 cups frozen peas, thawed
    • ½ cup diced cheddar cheese
    • ½ cup finely chopped red onion
    • ½ cup chopped celery
    • ½ cup sunflower seeds or chopped almonds (optional)
  • For the Dressing:

    • ½ cup mayonnaise
    • ¼ cup sour cream
    • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
    • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
    • 1 tsp honey (optional)
    • Salt & black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Thaw the Peas – Rinse frozen peas under cold water and drain well.
  • Prepare the Ingredients – Dice the cheese, chop the red onion and celery.
  • Mix the Salad – In a large bowl, combine peas, cheese, onion, celery, and sunflower seeds.
  • Make the Dressing – In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  • Combine Everything – Pour dressing over the salad and mix well.
  • Chill & Serve – Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, swap mayo for Greek yogurt.
  • Add bacon bits for extra flavor.
