A cozy, easy-to-make dessert that’s full of warm cinnamon spice, buttery caramel sauce, and a golden, crisp top. Perfect with a scoop of ice cream!
Ingredients
For the Cobbler:

⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted

¾ cup whole milk

2 tsp vanilla extract

1½ cups granulated sugar

1½ cups all-purpose flour

2¼ tsp baking powder
-
¾ tsp salt
-
2 tsp cinnamon
-
1½ cups packed brown sugar

1½ cups hot water
For the Topping:

¼ cup sugar
-
½ tsp cinnamon
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch pan.

In a bowl, whisk milk, vanilla, and sugar. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. Stir until smooth.

Spoon batter over the butter—do not stir.

Sprinkle brown sugar on top. Gently pour hot water over all—do not stir.

Bake 30–35 minutes or until golden and set.

Mix topping sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over hot cobbler.

Cool slightly and serve warm.
Notes

For best results, don’t stir the layers.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
