Ingredients
-
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough (or puff pastry for extra flakiness)
-
1/4 cup melted butter
-
1/4 cup granulated sugar
-
1 tsp cinnamon
-
Optional: Icing for decorating or dipping
Instructions
-
Preheat Oven: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
Prepare Dough: Roll out crescent roll dough and pinch seams to form a smooth sheet. Cut into strips (10-12 inches long, 1 inch wide).
-
Shape Bunnies: Twist each strip and shape into a bunny by making one large loop for the body and two smaller loops for the ears.
-
Add Butter & Cinnamon Sugar: Brush each bunny with melted butter. Mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle generously over each bunny.
-
Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
-
Serve & Decorate: Let cool slightly before serving. Add icing decorations if desired.
Notes
-
For extra crispiness, use puff pastry instead of crescent roll dough.
-
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
-
