Description

These Cinnamon Sugar Bunny Twists are sweet, buttery, and adorable treats shaped like bunnies. Perfect for Easter brunch, family breakfasts, or anytime you want a fun, festive dessert. Made with crescent roll dough or puff pastry and topped with cinnamon sugar, these twists are quick to make and always a hit!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough (or puff pastry for extra flakiness)

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • Optional: Icing for decorating or dipping

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Heat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Prepare Dough: Roll out crescent roll dough and pinch seams to form a smooth sheet. Cut into strips (10-12 inches long, 1 inch wide).

  • Shape Bunnies: Twist each strip and shape into a bunny by making one large loop for the body and two smaller loops for the ears.

  • Add Butter & Cinnamon Sugar: Brush each bunny with melted butter. Mix sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle generously over each bunny.

  • Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.

  • Serve & Decorate: Let cool slightly before serving. Add icing decorations if desired.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, use puff pastry instead of crescent roll dough.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

  • To reheat, warm in the oven at 300°F (150°C) for 5-7 minutes.
