These Cinnamon French Toast Sticks are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in a sweet cinnamon-sugar blend. They make the perfect dippable breakfast and can be served with maple syrup, chocolate sauce, or fresh fruit. Easy to make, freezer-friendly, and kid-approved!

- 6 slices of thick-cut bread (Texas toast, brioche, or challah)
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk (or dairy-free alternative)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup granulated sugar (for coating)
- 2 tbsp butter (for frying)
Instructions
- Cut each slice of bread into 3-4 sticks.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, honey, vanilla, and ½ tsp cinnamon.
- Dip each bread stick into the egg mixture, letting excess drip off.
- Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and fry sticks for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Mix sugar and the remaining ½ tsp cinnamon in a separate dish.
- Roll warm French toast sticks in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Serve immediately with maple syrup or your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use slightly stale bread for the best texture.
- For extra crispiness, cook in an air fryer at 375°F for 5-7 minutes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
