Ingredients
Fried Chicken:

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs/breasts

1 cup buttermilk

1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

1.5 cups all-purpose flour, 0.5 cups cornstarch

Oil for frying (vegetable/canola)
Waffles:

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt

2 large eggs, 1 3/4 cups milk, 1/3 cup melted butter

1 tsp vanilla extract
Spicy Honey Butter Sauce:

1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup)

4 tbsp melted butter
-
1–2 tsp hot sauce

Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions

Marinate Chicken: Mix buttermilk, spices. Marinate chicken 30 minutes to overnight.

Coat & Fry Chicken: Dredge in flour-cornstarch mixture. Fry at 350°F for 5–7 minutes per side.

Make Waffles: Combine dry & wet ingredients. Cook in waffle iron until golden.

Spicy Honey Butter Sauce: Mix honey, butter, hot sauce, cayenne.

Serve: Top waffles with chicken, drizzle with sauce.
