Ingredients

  • 3 lbs potatoes (peeled & diced)
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half & half)
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  • Boil diced potatoes for 10-12 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
  • In a pan, melt butter and sauté onions until soft. Stir in garlic powder, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika. Add heavy cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Layer half of the potatoes in the baking dish, sprinkle with cheddar cheese and turkey bacon. Repeat with another layer. Pour the creamy sauce over everything.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions and serve warm.

  • Use different cheese blends for extra flavor.
  • For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes.
