Description
A hearty and comforting casserole made with layers of seasoned ground beef, thinly sliced potatoes, and melty cheese. Perfect for easy weeknight dinners and meal prep.
Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 tbsp olive oil

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

4–5 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp dried Italian seasoning

½ tsp paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ cup beef broth or water
-
¼ cup milk (optional, for creaminess)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Heat olive oil in a skillet. Add ground beef and cook until browned.

Add chopped onion and garlic; cook until softened.

Transfer beef mixture to the baking dish.

Layer sliced potatoes over the beef. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.

Sprinkle cheddar and Parmesan cheese over the top.

Pour broth around the edges. Drizzle milk on top if using.

Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

Remove foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
