Description
This cheesy garlic bread is buttery, crispy, and loaded with roasted garlic, melted cheese, and fresh herbs. Perfect as a side dish for pasta, soups, or as a delicious snack.
Ingredients

- 250g salted butter, softened
- 24–30 garlic confit cloves (or roasted garlic)
- 1 tbsp garlic-infused olive oil
- 1 handful fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup pecorino romano cheese, grated
- 50g mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 ciabatta loaf, sliced in half lengthwise
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Blend butter, roasted garlic, olive oil, parsley, and pecorino romano until smooth. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Spread the garlic butter generously on the sliced ciabatta.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and extra pecorino romano on top.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5-10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Drizzle with honey, add chili flakes, and garnish with extra parsley.
- Slice and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra crunch, add panko breadcrumbs on top before baking.
- Substitute ciabatta with sourdough or a French baguette for variety.
