- 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
- Crushed graham crackers or chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the strawberries, then slice them in half.
- Use a spoon to create a small pocket in each strawberry half.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, heavy cream, and lemon zest until smooth.
- Transfer the filling into a piping bag and fill each strawberry half.
- Sprinkle with crushed graham crackers or chocolate shavings.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
Notes
- For a firmer filling, chill the mixture for 10–15 minutes before piping.
- Can be made ahead but best enjoyed fresh.
