Instructions
Creating cauliflower crust pizza is easier than you might think. Follow these steps to make your own delicious pizza:
1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Prepare Cauliflower: Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower. Cut it into florets.
3. Rice the Cauliflower: Using a food processor, pulse the cauliflower florets until they resemble rice. You can also grate them manually.
4. Steam the Cauliflower: Place the riced cauliflower in a microwave-safe bowl and cover it. Microwave for about 4-5 minutes until tender.
5. Cool and Squeeze: Allow the cauliflower to cool slightly, then transfer it to a clean kitchen towel. Squeeze out excess moisture.
6. Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the riced cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
7. Form the Crust: On a parchment-lined baking sheet, spread the cauliflower mixture into a circular shape, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
8. Bake the Crust: Place the crust in the preheated oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
9. Add Toppings: Remove the crust from the oven and spread pizza sauce on top. Add your desired toppings and extra cheese.
10. Final Bake: Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
