Description

A creamy, savory cheese ball shaped like a carrot, perfect for Easter gatherings. Made with cream cheese, cheddar, and flavorful seasonings, it pairs well with crackers and fresh veggies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp. black pepper
  • ½ tsp. dried oregano
  • ½ tsp. dried parsley
  • 1 tsp. hot sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley sprigs for garnish
  • Crackers or fresh vegetables for serving

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, half of the shredded cheddar, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, oregano, parsley, hot sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well.
  • Shape the mixture into a carrot-like form using plastic wrap. Wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • Unwrap and place the cheese ball on a serving plate. Press the remaining shredded cheddar onto the surface to create the carrot’s orange color.
  • Insert fresh parsley sprigs at the top to resemble carrot greens.
  • Serve with crackers, pretzels, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For a milder flavor, omit the hot sauce.
  • Use freshly shredded cheddar for the best texture.
  • Make ahead and refrigerate for up to 24 hours before serving.
