- 2 large apples (peeled, cored, and diced)
- ½ cup caramel sauce
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 package refrigerated pie dough (or homemade)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar (for dusting)
- ½ tsp nutmeg (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar. Cook until apples soften.
- Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the apples to thicken the mixture. Stir in caramel sauce and let it cool.
- Roll out pie dough and cut into circles.
- Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle, fold over, and seal edges with a fork.
- Brush with egg wash and sprinkle sugar on top.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly, drizzle with caramel sauce, and serve.

- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze before baking.
