Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 12 tbsp Cajun seasoning (to taste)

  • 8 oz Andouille sausage (or halal alternative), sliced and cooked

  • 4 cups mixed salad greens

  • 12 tbsp olive oil

  • Optional: cherry tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, croutons, vinaigrette


Instructions

  • Slice and cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Set aside.

  • Toss shrimp with Cajun seasoning.

  • In the same skillet, heat olive oil and sear shrimp on one side until golden. Flip and cook until opaque. Avoid overcooking.

  • Arrange greens in a bowl or platter.

  • Top with cooked shrimp and sausage.

  • Add any optional toppings and drizzle with vinaigrette.

  • Serve immediately while warm.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked or fully cooked sausage for faster prep.

  • Start with less Cajun seasoning and add more to taste.
