- 2 cod fillets
- 3 tbsp butter (melted)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 tsp dried parsley (or fresh for garnish)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- ¼ tsp paprika (optional)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Pat the cod dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sear cod for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and flaky. Remove and set aside.
- Melt butter in the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice and parsley to make a flavorful butter sauce.
- Return cod to the pan and spoon the sauce over the fillets.

- For extra crispiness, lightly dredge cod in flour before cooking.
