Ready in just 30 minutes!

Ingredients

Scale
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • ⅓ cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tbsp grated ginger
  • ⅛ tsp red pepper flakes

For the Stir-Fry:

  • 2 (3 oz) packages ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (divided)
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • ½ tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • ½ cup water
  • Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce and cornstarch until smooth. Add beef broth, honey, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Mix well and set aside.
  • Cook the Ramen: Boil water in a pot, cook ramen for 2-3 minutes, drain, rinse under cold water, and toss with 1 tsp sesame oil to prevent sticking.
  • Sear the Steak: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with salt and pepper, cook for 3 minutes per side, then remove.
  • Steam the Broccoli: Add 1 tbsp olive oil and broccoli to the skillet, pour in ½ cup water, cover, and steam for 2 minutes.
  • Combine Everything: Return steak and ramen noodles to the skillet, pour in the prepared sauce, toss well, and cook for 1-2 minutes until everything is evenly coated.
  • Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Make It Spicy: Add extra red pepper flakes or Sriracha for heat.
  • Vegetarian Option: Substitute beef with tofu or mushrooms.
  • Noodle Variations: Try udon, soba, or rice noodles instead of ramen.
