Description

Bang Bang Chicken Sliders are crispy, golden-brown chicken bites coated in a creamy, sweet, and spicy Bang Bang sauce, served on soft slider buns with fresh lettuce. These sliders are perfect for parties, game nights, or a delicious family meal.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

For the Bang Bang Sauce:

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt for a lighter option)
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon sriracha (adjust to spice preference)

For Assembly:

  • 8 slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or coleslaw
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Bread the Chicken: Coat each piece in flour, dip into beaten eggs, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Fry the Chicken: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry chicken for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  • Make the Bang Bang Sauce: In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, honey, garlic powder, and sriracha.
  • Coat the Chicken: Toss the crispy chicken in the Bang Bang sauce until fully coated.
  • Assemble the Sliders: Toast the slider buns, add shredded lettuce, and place the coated chicken on top. Garnish with green onions.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Serve immediately with extra Bang Bang sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, bake or air-fry the chicken instead of frying.
  • Adjust the sriracha for a milder or spicier sauce.
  • Brioche buns work best for a slightly sweet contrast to the spicy chicken.
