- 2 cups cherry tomatoes
- 1 block (8 oz) feta cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 10 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or preferred choice)
- ½ cup reserved pasta water
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place cherry tomatoes in a baking dish, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Toss to coat.
- Place the block of feta in the center of the dish, drizzle with more olive oil.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until tomatoes burst and feta softens.
- Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- Remove the baking dish from the oven and mash the feta and tomatoes to create a creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta and mix well. If needed, add reserved pasta water for a silkier texture.
- Garnish with fresh basil and serve immediately.

- Use whole block feta instead of crumbled for a better texture.
