- 1½ cups diced apples (Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, or preferred variety)
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix wet and dry ingredients until just combined.
- Scoop batter onto the prepared baking sheet, forming small mounds.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While fritters cool slightly, whisk glaze ingredients until smooth.
- Drizzle glaze over warm fritters, let it set, and serve.

- Use a mix of tart and sweet apples for a well-balanced flavor.
- Let batter rest for 10 minutes for better texture.
