Description

These air fryer garlic herb chicken skewers are juicy, flavorful, and quick to make. Spiced chicken is air-fried to golden perfection and finished with a rich garlic herb butter glaze. Perfect for weeknight dinners, meal prep, or entertaining.

For the Chicken Marinade:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 2-inch pieces

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper

  • ¼ tsp turmeric

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp avocado oil

For the Garlic Herb Butter:

  • 1 stick unsalted butter

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped


Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine all marinade spices with avocado oil. Toss chicken to coat. Marinate for at least 20 minutes.

  • Melt butter in a saucepan. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in honey and parsley. Set aside.

  • Soak wooden skewers (if using). Thread chicken onto skewers.

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Line basket with parchment.

  • Cook skewers for 10 minutes, flip, and cook for another 6–8 minutes or until internal temp is 165°F.

  • Brush skewers with garlic herb butter and garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Can be made ahead by marinating chicken up to 24 hours in advance.

  • Adjust cayenne to control spice level.

  • Substitute chicken breast if preferred.

  • Serve with rice, salad, or flatbread.
